If you like Zippys fried chicken thighs you must try this!
Fried Chicken
Brine:
4 Cups Water
2 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Sugar
8 Chicken Thighs
Flour Coating:
2 Cups Wheat Flour
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons white pepper
2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
1 pinch Hawaiian salt or kosher salt
Directions:
Combine all Brine ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix until all ingredients are dissolved.
Add chicken thighs into brine and soak overnight minimum 4 hours Remove chicken from brine and coat with Flour Coating let it sit for about 5 min. Recoat and deep fry in 350-degree oil.
Cook for 15 min minimum turning over at around 8 minutes.
