This is easy to make for a fast meal.
There are all kinds of noodles in the markets. I use these noodles from 99 Ranch Market. (In the picture)
You can try other noodles, but these are my choice for saimin.
There are 5 bundles to a package. I cut each bundle into thirds and freeze each cut bundle in zip lock bags.
When needed take out and boil.
Each bundle is good for one meal.
Recipe calls for 2 bundles, soup makes enough for 2.
I use this chicken bullion also from 99 Ranch Market. Don't substitute, it will change the taste.
Ingredients:
2 bundles noodle
1 block chicken bullion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame seed oil
2 1/2 cups water
Instructions:
Cook noodles in boiling water for a few minutes, cool in colander under cold water
in a small pot combine chicken bullion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, in 2 1/2 cups of water
bring to a boil and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Put drained noodles in a bowl and add soup and you topping of your choice.
